The Canal Winchester Middle School Lacrosse Program began as a club sport in 2017 before being fully sanctioned as a  school sport in 2019. 

CW Middle School Athletic programs are designed to provide learning experiences that prepare student-athletes for the rigor of high school. CWMS programs are designed to help students develop in the following areas:

• Time management
• Organization
• Team work
• Accountability
  

Many players pick up lacrosse for the first time in middle school where they are given the  opportunity to represent the community and their school.  Players new to lacrosse will be introduced to the game along with their experienced teammates in a fast paced but supportive manner.  Players are asked to work as hard as they can and continue to learn.  Success at this level is measured by the player and teams development, not their record.
